Thanks to NoOne for the heads up
Rumors have been swirling for the past month about Dominic Monaghan's upcoming projects.
In addition to talk that he might have a role on ABC's Flash Forward (with fellow Lostie Sonya Walger), there's been ever-noisier buzz about a possible Lost return engagement. Could it really happen?
Well, we just got a juicy tip that suggests there very well might be a place for doomed rock bassist Charlie Pace in season six of Lost. Here's what we're hearing...
A reliable spy tells us that Monaghan, one of the key original Lost castmembers, and Lost show runner Damon Lindelof had breakfast together this morning at a Fairfax district eatery in Los Angeles. Of course, the meal might just have been a friendly sit-down between two colleagues (and/or because waffles are delicious), but as Lost-loving optimists, we have to hope that it was a meeting where the two talents came to terms about the story that puts Charlie Pace back in the mix for season six.
Now, there's no telling what the last episodes of Lost will really be like. Speculation begins with a safe landing for Oceanic flight 815 and from there gets really, really crazy.
In the many months between now and the season-six premiere, the best we can do is sit back and let our imaginations run wild, collect pieces of the jigsaw puzzle and hone our dreams and theories about the castaways of Mystery Friggin' Island. So what's your theory?
If Dominic Monaghan is returning to Lost, do you think he will reappear as strung out 815 Charlie? Or would he be hanging out with Hurley (Jorge Garcia) as a transcendent (but dead) rock god? Does he have an alternate-universe dopplegänger? The possibilities are endless.

Thanks to Jenny for sending this in.
In one of the biggest shocks in sci-fi, Lost producers are planning to kill off Jack Shephard next year.
The castaways' mainman, played by Matthew Fox, will die in the very last episode of the hit show, according to insiders.
Show boss Carlton Cuse refuses to confirm or deny the news.
"We put a lot of time and effort into creating surprises and unexpected events in the storylines," he says.
"If you're watching Lost, it should be a pristine experience."
So will he kill off the doc?
"I wish I could answer that question," he says. "But it'd be like watching The Sixth Sense and knowing Bruce Willis is dead."
We'll take that as a 'yes' then.

I've just been sent this by a contact at ABC who heard through a 2nd hand collegue. As we've no way of verifying this info yet we'll have to keep it in Rumours.
We are hearing a lot of buzz that the Lost producers are trying to ink short term deals with a few of the original castmembers who left the show long ago.

Thanks to Nomad for this little bit of info. I suspect this is probably true but I cannot confirm currently. Also note that the roles that they audition for sometimes change eg He could be a Professor or turn out to be a plumber.
I worked with an actor named Nick Chinlund on a made for tv film last year up in Canada. I moved to New York about two months ago and I'm just staying with my sister for a few more months just checking out the city to see if it's a place I might consider working and living in.
Anyways, I ran into Nick at a little hole in the wall restaurant in the city over the weekend. We caught up and talked for a couple of minutes. He talked about his current projects and he revealed that he auditioned for Lost for the character of Brian which he said was actually named Professor Brian Harper in the actual auditions. He got two call backs and thought the part was his but his agent told him one of the producers of the show got an actor from a movie they did together to take the part. The character is a Egyptian history professor in the states according to Nick.
He lost the part to Brad William Henke who worked with Damon Lindelof on the Star Trek movie.

Update: 9th April I'm beginning to think this is total BS after talking to a couple of sources. Although some elements from known spoilers may have been mixed in with these descriptions it now looks like this is not trustworthy. I number of things this "source" has said no longer makes much sense along with the fact that I manage to catch them in a blatant lie. It's a little sad that someone went to so much effort to try a trick us but they will have to try a little harder before their info makes it onto the Spoiler Page :) (Although if this being done by ABC it's a great way to conceal the real finale lol)
For now we'll mark this as hoax.
Update: 9th April Our source has revealed the correct ending. I've still not been able to verify this 100% but only read if you want to know as this could be some key scenes of the Season 5 finale.
Update: 8th April - 20:30 Our source has removed 3 more options.
Update: 8th April Our source has removed 3 options.
According to "Setspy", the person who took the photos from the set a few days ago, one of these spoilers will be the ending (or at least a very substantial portion of the ending) of Lost's 5th season. I am placing this in rumors until my source can confirm the ending. "Setspy" will remove one option one at a time.
As with other spoilers for the finale we'll start putting them all behind buttons for those that don't want to know.
Which one do you think is the real ending? And before you ask I do NOT know the answer so please DO NOT EMAIL ME :)
DO NOT POST OR DISCUSS THE INFO HERE IN ANY OTHER THREAD, ONLY THIS ONE. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL TO OTHER LOST FANS WHO MAY NOT WANT TO KNOW. WE ALSO ASK THAT YOU DONT REPOST THIS ANYWHERE, IT'S ONE OF THE FEW ITEMS WE REQUEST THAT YOU DONT REPOST
You can also discuss this in our official forum thread.
Here is the correct ending
The temple survivors timeline syncs up with the Ajira survivors timeline. However, there is a consequence to exploiting the islands properties. The survivors of both groups are transported into sometime in the future. The sky turns purple and the survivors walk around the island finding it strangly different and finding evidence that Dharma may have reconstituted in the years following the Oceanic and Ajira crashes. This is not made clear but there are new Dharma stations and more barracks and the season ends with a very new looking Volkswagon van pulling up to the survivors. I will let your imagination guess the character's name but I will tell you the actor portraying the character, the actor is named Bill Cobbs and a google image search of him should be all you need to know who he turns out to be. There is still an additional two pages of the shooting script but what is on pages 104 and 105 is unknown to us but they left it blank for the production designers with a notation to contact the "unit production manager" if assistance was needed. And remember the script has so many pages because it's a two hour episode and they are very detailed with their shooting descriptions.
1. The incident sends everyone who was in the temple to Locke era present day. Unknown exactly how it plays out after the "time sync" but everyone in the temple is safely transported to another time. No events are changed, and this always happened. Nothing else is known about the remaining events of the episode.
2. Following the incident in the 70's, and followed by John's manipulation of the island's unique casimir effect property in the present, the temple survivors timeline syncs up with the Ajira survivors timeline. However, there is a consequence to exploiting the islands properties. The survivors of both groups are transported into sometime in the future. The sky turns purple and the survivors walk around the island finding it strangly different and finding evidence that Dharma may have possibly survived the purge or reconstituted in the years following the Oceanic and Ajira crashes. This is not made clear but there are new Dharma stations and more barracks and the season ends with a very new looking Volkswagon van pulling up to the survivors. A very familiar face exits the vehicle and welcomes the survivors to the island. End of season. The identity of this person will b revealed as the finale gets closer.
6. Following the incident, Jack and the gang will "sync up" with 2007ish Locke and his group. The two photos of the new camp is Locke's groups camp. Off island, present day, Old Widmore and his mystery girl are flying over the Tunisian desert in a helicopter rushing to a specific coordinate in the middle of the desert. Thirty years or so in the past the incident occurs and the present day exit point in Tunisia is basically swallowed up transporting Widmore's helicopter and a few well placed "items" placed by a familiar face to the island who also makes the trip back to the island. This familiar face is *o*e **he* t*a* *la*go*'s *w* *r. ****.
9. Widmore's secret man/woman on the Ajira flight is able to exploit one of the island's properties to communicate with 1977 Widmore. The massive amount of energy released in the incident coupled with the power of the jughead and the islands unique pocket of exotic matter will allow for an exception to Faraday's rules which allow for an alternate timeline. Middle aged Widmore is unable to make it back into the temple pre incident and he is not protected from the rules of space and time and this has caused him to age 40 years thus allowing old Charles Widmore to roam the island. Unknown what happens next.

Thanks to w8tnvain2000 for the following. I cannot confirm this so we'll place in rumours for now but it does seem to gel with other spoilers/reports that we have and this comes from an Hawaiian only Yahoo Group.
Hi! On my way home today, I came across the Lost crew filming a scene outside Ewa Community church. There were people dressed in their black attire surrounding the backside of a hearse. I was going the opposite direction so I didn't make out who was in that scene. Sorry not that much info.
